On my way to Aldi, will look for it. May or may not be the same at my store but I will check just the same. Thanks for the heads up.
I hope you found them. They had them in an odd spot at my store, at the end of the Halloween candy aisle, along with some yolk-free noodles. So it was lucky that I spotted them!
Thanks for the heads up! I never see lasagna noodles at my Aldi. I wasn't going to even go grocery shopping this week and now you've got me thinking maybe I should head over there.
I hope yours has it too! They have the butternut and acorn squashes on sale for 99 cents each down here, this week too. Those keep forever so I bought 3 more butternut squashes (I now have 6 of them!) and 2 acorn squashes.
I've got 3 large butternut squashes and a couple of acorn squashes sitting on my kitchen counter that I picked up at the local farmers market a couple of weeks ago. I usually never go there but I was craving squash and they were good deals. :) I also felt adventurous and I tried a squash that I never heard of before, called a delicata squash. They are kind of long, resembling a very thick dark green zucchini and they have thin yellow stripes all around lenghthwise. I made a couple of them for the first time and, oh my, they were soooo good! They had a nice sweet flavor and I didn't even use butter or salt or sugar or any kind if seasoning at all- it held its own quite nicely. If you ever see it I recommend trying it.
Oohh, good to know. I've heard of the delicata and I can't remember if I ever saw any in the stores or just saw a picture online. I'll have to keep an eye out from now on! Thanks, Dawn!
Really want those noodles and can't wait until we get them at our store... They weren't there when I was there a few days ago. Bummer!!
Ah, shoot. Did you look in the weird places? They were all the way at the end of the Halloween candy aisle at my store. Like it was candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, candy, lasagna noodles, no yolk noodles. Weird.
